Direct Support Specialist

The DSS works with our ISL consumer(s) in their homes assisting them to work toward their goals and have fun.


  • Assure a clean, safe, comfortable, personalized, and friendly home for each consumer.
  • Maintain standards as outlined by the Department of Mental Health, Medicaid Waiver, or other funding sources.
  • Assure that all medical orders are followed and documented properly, according to Level 1 Medication Administration guidelines.
  • Assure that the consumer receives immediate medical attention for any problem. 
  • Follow ALL Bridges and DMH policies regarding abuse and neglect reporting. 
  • Assist the consumer to live within his/her means.
  • Maintain a reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and notify your supervisor immediately of any changes in this regard.
  • Transport consumer in your own automobile as needed. 
  • Exhibit appropriate modeling behaviors in your own health and hygiene. 
  • Work the hours you are assigned and be on time. 
  • Be an effective role model


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable automobile, driver's license and current auto insurance
  • Previous Experience is a plus

Community Support Specialist

The Community Support Specialist shall work directly with individuals to foster the attainment of skills and increased independence.


  • Providing support within specific life skills which may include coaching in the following areas: cooking, menu planning, shopping, laundry, cleaning, budgeting, bill paying, banking, safety, coordinating medical appointments, using public transportation, accessing recreational or social activities or house organization.
  • Submitting monthly progress reports which detail activities toward the goals and objectives



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in related field
  • Reliable automobile, driver's license and current auto insurance

Community RN-Part Time

Provide community nursing services that meet the requirements of the MRDD community. 


  • Monthly face to face RN assessments of individual consumers in the Medicaid waiver program
  • Ensure the accuracy of individual consumer health records
  • Complete monthly health summary and provide recommendations to consumer and staff
  • Collaborate with consumer's team and complete annual health summary as part of PCP
  • Inform Program Director of consumer health status changes or deficiencies in the standard of care provided to the consumer


  • At least 1 year of experience with psychiatric issues
  • Current Missouri RN licensure
  • Home healthcare experience preferred
  • Position requires travel throughout the St. Louis area
